Thompson’s Point Incident Reporting Form

Use this form to report accidents, incidents, medical situations, or suspicious behavior. Incidents involving a crime or traffic accident should also be reported directly to the Portland Police Department. The report should be completed and submitted within 24 hours of the event. Photos, videos, police reports or any additional attachments should be sent to julia@thompsonspointmaine.com.

Important items to keep in mind while recording an incident:

  1. Photo/Video
    Pictures and video should be taken at each incident. If you cannot take photos or videos during the course of an event, please be sure to take them afterwards. This should include the location of the incident and any important items of note: License plates/make/model of involved vehicles, location(s), damage to property or equipment, pertinent areas of interest.

  2. Safety

    Your safety is our number one priority. If you feel concerned for your safety or the safety of someone else, please call 911 or the Portland Police Dispatch line. Do not video or photograph suspicious behavior if you feel that it puts you in danger. Find a safe location and then record your account.

  3. When To File

    1. Even if you believe it to be insignificant, please record and submit it. This way, if something should come of it in the future, we have a clear record that we can reference. This includes any of the following:

  • Any and All Medical Events(even if an ambulance is not called)

  • Police/Security Incidents

  • Suspicious Behavior

  • Traffic/Parking/Vehicular/Pedestrian Accidents or Incidents

  • Disrespectful/Dangerous/Malicious Behavior

  • Destruction/Damage or Stolen Property/Equipment

  • Anything that you perceive as strange, out of the ordinary, concerning or of note
