Pours and the Outdoors

In partnership with Maine Outdoor Brands with tap takeover by Bissell Brothers, Thompson’s Point is proud to present Pours and the Outdoors, an outdoor experience this November and December. Each event will feature presentations and inspiration from outdoor brands and experts, gear giveaways, demos, fire pits, and a Bissell Brothers tap takeover. The proceeds from each night will be donated to a non-profit working to improve outdoor recreation access in Maine.

5-8PM at the Brick South Beer Garden; Doors at 5, Presentations at 5:30PM

Lineup:

Thursday, November 19: Fat Bike Night

Fat biking 101 with Allspeed Cyclery & Snow, Threlkeld Outdoors and Greater Portland NEMBA (featured non-profit) outlining what it takes to start or hone fat biking in Maine this winter.

Thursday, December 3: Nordic Night

Featuring films, a wax demo and all the info you need to Nordic ski locally this winter from Boulder Nordic and Portland Nordic (featured non-profit).

Thursday, December 10: Surf Night

Grain Surfboards, Black Point Surf Shop, Maine Surfers Union, and Surfrider Foundation Maine Chapter (featured non-profit) will host a night of surfing films, tips, and board demos.

Thursday, December 17: Backcountry Ski Night

Backcountry skiing 101 with Allspeed Cyclery & Snow, Winterstick Snowboards, West Mountain Ski Company, Amalgam and Granite Backcountry Alliance (featured non-profit) outlining everything you need to know to get into backcountry skiing this winter from equipment, apparel, avalanche safety, and where to go.

Now is the time to embrace winter! With plenty of outdoor space to spread-out, this open-air experience is socially distant conscious. Gear up to stay warm!

Fire pit reservations: $50 per fire pit with a maximum of 6 people per fire pit. Propane is provided. Please bring your own folding chairs or picnic blankets.

Please remember to stay home if you have any cold or flu symptoms. Masks are required until you are seated. Seating will be at least six feet from other parties. No more than six people per quarantine pod.

Full bar and concessions are available on site.

No outside food or beverage is permitted.

Please note the Thompson’s Point team is taking every precaution to keep our attendees safe and comfortable. We are asking that all attendees wear a mask in all common areas, which can be removed once you are seated.

Reserve a propane run fire pit in the Brick South Beer Garden for a total of six people to enjoy. Please bring your own folding chairs or picnic blankets for seating.

1. General Admission- no fire pit (bundle up!)

$10.00

Tickets include entry into a raffle for an outdoor gear giveaway.
