About this Event

Those who have been to Thompson's Point in summers past know that Sunsets on the Point have become a staple of our Summer programming at The Depot on the waterfront. This June we're introducing Pic-nic-ette, Sunset's socially distant cousin.

On site will be three food vendors; two savory and one sweet option, with no more than 50 patrons allowed in the venue at one time. Food vendor lineups will be announced via Facebook and Instagram prior to each event date. This event is all ages, however, attendees will need a ticket to enter in order to maintain the 50 person cap. Your $5 ticket will gain you a soft drink at the bar as well as guaranteed access to the session of your choosing, with entrance times ranging from 1PM to 7PM.

This is a BYOS (Bring Your Own Seat) event, whether blanket or lawn chair. A cash bar will be available for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There are no outside food or beverages allowed into the venue.

Each group will have their own designated picnic area on the lawn overlooking the Fore River. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own games, however, please be mindful of social distancing parameters and refrain from bringing items that could easily roll or fall into someone else's picnic area. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed and with their owners at all times, and face coverings must be worn outside of your picnic area.

If the event is canceled due to weather, tickets will be refunded through Eventbrite.
